Game replicates combat from WW2 where the player is either the tail gunner in a Lancaster bomber, or is manning a static position defending a beach or a city building from attack. In all instances the violence is implied – insomuch that although aircraft are shot down, armoured vehicles are blown up and ships destroyed no characters are seen.
