The game features frequent violence in pixelated, 2D setting, against both fantasy and human characters. Violence results in different responses from different characters. For instance, shooting at giant crab characters will often cause them to burst apart into pieces. Meanwhile, shooting humans causes a red spurt, yell and then the characters fall to the ground. All bodies disappear after being struck down. Zombies may also disappear into clouds of blood when they are shot.
