In Police Tactics: Imperio, you start your career as an ambitious police chief in a big city that is dirty and corrupt to the core. It is your job to guarantee public safety and maintain order. Coordinate squad cars and police forces for the city police department and put an end to the crime wave. Make sure no crime goes unpunished, and convict the culprits! You are the first line of defence in the battle against crime.

This game features depictions of non-realistic violence towards human-like characters, police and criminals will clash and sometimes the sounds of punches or gunshots can be heard, there is no reaction to the violence only a health bar that goes down when the character is injured, when defeated they fall to the floor, no blood/gore is shown. It also features infrequent mild language with words such as “bastard” and “goddamn” being used. There is also some mild horror shown in comic book style photos, images of bloodied bodies such as a man with a slit throat.
