The game takes place in a fantastical, brightly-coloured setting. Playable characters are equipped with cartoonish weapons, which have similar functions to shotguns, rifles, rocket launchers, flamethrowers, and so on. Characters do not react physically to individual strikes, though there may be a small red blood effect when they are hit. Healthbars appear over characters’ heads and will decrease with each blow. When their bar runs out, characters fall limply to the ground. After a short time, their bodies disappear completely.
