Although the gameplay depicts plenty of violence none is realistic, however the cut scenes include the type of violence that is regarded as realistic looking. One example is when the Captain of a Federation starship is captured by the Klingons. When he refuses to co-operate, the Klingon Captain plunges a knife into his abdomen, there are no blood effects.
