Spider: Rite of the Shrouded Moon

The player controls a jumping spider. The objective is to craft webs to trap insects. When enough insects have been trapped, the player can open a portal to progress through the game. The setting is an abandoned mansion built by a secret society. Throughout the gameplay it becomes apparent that eerie things happen here.

Rating issues

Next to the fact that the mansion is a rather sinister and dark place, there are some settings that could potentially be scary to younger children. Especially the Graveyard, where players can find a shrivelled up corpse.

Other issues

Throughout gameplay it is insinuated that a kidnapping took place. Nothing is explicitly depicted but players can piece this together from various clues they find throughout the game (e.g. finding a chloroform bottle)
