Rating issues

The violence is unrealistic and comic in nature. Zombies and plants are shot using a variety of comic or fantasy weapons, such as peas, lasers and rockets. Depending on the weapon used, the number of hits required to kill an enemy varies. When a zombie is killed, its head, arms and legs can fall off, although there is no blood or gore and the animation style is cartoon-like.

Some larger enemies and bosses may be frightening to younger children.

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items, in the form of coins, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Coins can be used to purchase Sticker Packs, which can contain accessories, consumables and new character variants. The content of each Sticker Pack is randomized. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
