Turn-based strategy. You lead an expedition to create a new civilization in space, colonizing alien planets, researching new technologies, mobilizing armies and constructing settlements. This is an expansion to Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth which introduces oceanic gameplay.

Rating issues

Violence is turn based and consists of small units in an alien landscape, shooting at attacking extra-terrestrials. Damage to human characters is represented by numbers. Defeated soldiers will fall to the ground and disappear.

Other issues

The game features online playing capability which may involve real-time interaction with other players.
