Rogue Galaxy

The game was rated PEGI 12 for non-realistic violence towards human characters and the use of mild swearing. Not appropriate for persons below 12 years of age.
The game follows the adventures of Jaster Rogue, a young agricultural worker living on an isolated planet, who becomes involved in a galactic conflict, and learns the fate of the entire galaxy lies in his hands.

Rating issues

Battles take place randomly, and the characters can utilise bladed weapons, firearms or weapons that have been combined to form new ones, be that fire, ice lightening, or wind.

All weapons regardless of their origins have a similar effect on a character, there is a flash of light and a reduction in health points. Human and fantasy characters will be moved an exaggerated distance from the point of contact and them resume fighting, other than this they do not show any reaction to the violence. When defeated the character will disappear in a flash of light. The violence is non-realistic looking.

There is the occasional use of the word ‘bastard’
