Gameplay consists of a still image and text storyline interspersed with turn based combat, in which the foe is an alien invader (fantasy character). Violence during combat manifests itself through the use of bladed weapons, firearms plus a myriad of enhanced powers.

When a character is attacked (human or fantasy) they are seen as still images. Each hit to a character is denoted by a flash of light although the character does not react, there is however a noticeable change to its condition as reported by the information alongside. The violence depicted during turn based combat is non-realistic.

Cut scenes in the game provide more gravitas to the violence insomuch that when a human character is for example shot, a pool of blood will form around the body before it disappears.

Mild swearing and offensive language are used during the game and includes: ‘Ass’, ‘Bastard’, ‘Bitch’, ‘Crap’, ‘Dammit’, ‘Damn’, ‘Dick’, ‘Hell’, ‘Piss’, ‘Prick’, ‘Shit’, and ‘Slut’.

Sexual innuendo is seen as text below an image and takes the form of a discourse between a male and female character: “sit there and take off your clothes” …”Be gentle, sweet Fumi”.. “So you want me to undress you”. The image portrays one character sat astride the lap of another.
