Rating issues

As with the first two games in the Phoenix Wright series, the majority of violence is implied and set within an investigative framework.

This excludes prosecutor Franziska von Karma’s bizarre habit of whipping almost everyone in her presence. Her victims barely react, except with brief flinches or over-the-top cartoonish faces.

Implied violence includes crime scene photographs and a hostage situation on a bridge, in which a detective shoots a fugitive. He responds by throwing his young captive into the water below (though this action is never directly seen).

Bad language, once again, is mild, including the phrases ‘what the hell?’, ‘who the hell?’ and the tame insult ‘jerk’.

Other issues

Some crime scene pictures fall under PEGI’s fear category, meaning they might be upsetting to young children.
