Rating issues
Like its predecessor, much of the violence in ‘Phoenix Wright..: Justice for All’ is suitable for a PEGI 7 rating – often only heavily implied rather than actually seen.
The violence is raised to a 12 level by prosecutor Franziska von Karma, who sees fit to use a whip in the court room (though with minimal reaction from her whipees, so just meeting the criteria for non-realistic violence to humans).
Mildly offensive language includes phrases like ‘you stupid jerk’, ‘who the hell are you?’ and multiple uses of ‘dammit’.
Other issues
Some crime sequences fall under PEGI’s fear category, meaning they might be upsetting to young children.
