Rating issues

This game contains non-realistic violence towards human characters and animal-like characters. When the human enemies are hit, flashes of light can be seen on impact, before the characters explode into a skull and non-realistic bones. No blood or gore is shown.

When the player’s character is killed, the character grunts before falling to the ground. There is a tiny blood spray on impact, which is difficult to make out due to the flashes of light.

The game contains use of the word ‘bastard’.

Other issues

This game deals with mental health issues. The main character is struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts. Although the character talks about “wishing that they won’t wake up tomorrow”, they do not attempt suicide at any point in the game.

The game also contains sexual references. A character can be seen in a bath with bubbles covering her breasts. There is some cleavage shown. She also makes a sexually suggestive noise when the player progresses through dialogue.

The game features images that could be scary to young children. The game takes place in the mind of a child. Many of the characters are clowns or skeletons. At one point, the player enters a room that looks like a stage. A large “puppet master” lingers over the stage as dark and ominous music plays and cartoonish dismembered heads float around.
