Rating issues

This game contains strong and realistic-looking violence towards both human and fantasy characters. The majority of the enemies in the game are humanoid animals who react to violence in a realistic way, recoiling from hits and grunting. There are bright flashes of light during combat and moderate blood effects spray out. Numbers also appear to indicate damage, and bosses have a health bar that depletes. When enemies are defeated, reactions are non-realistic, with characters falling to the ground before turning to dust and fading completely. During one scene, a human character is seen tearing a limb from a fantasy creature. Bone can be seen poking out as gold liquid splashes out of their body.

The protagonist of the game carries drinking vessels around with him which contain alcohol. This alcohol provides health benefits, such as recovering health points.

The game also features depictions of sexual nudity. Still images are shown of two characters who appear to be engaging in sexual activity. Genitals are not seen, but the characters are naked, with breasts and buttocks visible, and the positioning of their bodies indicating sexual activity.

Other issues

This game also includes use of bad language, including ‘bullshit’, ‘bastard’ and ‘bloody’.

There are frequent disturbing images throughout, including sight of dead bodies surrounded by blood. A headless musician also appears, with some flesh and bone around where the head was severed.

After being defeated by the player, one character is seen to take their own life because they are unable to accept the humiliation of defeat. Their silhouette is shown, with splashes of blood coming from the wound.
