Rating issues

The Lake House contains depictions of gross violence towards human characters. In one scene, a character’s head is repeatedly smashed with a rock.

This game contains strong language including ‘fuck’, as well as milder bad language including ‘shit’, ‘asshole’, ‘piss’ and ‘bastard’.

Other issues

This game also contains sustained horror sequences. Players will be faced with a number of creatures and human enemies who threaten to kill them and appear at unexpected moments.

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items, in the form of DLC, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
