Gameplay features sustained but non-realistic violence against large numbers of enemy soldiers. Characters flash when hit and fall to the ground when their life meter is depleted. There is no sight of blood or obvious injuries. Cinematic sequences feature stronger and more realistic violence, including sight of close quarters combat, depicting realistic sword strikes and arrow impacts.
Other issues
This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items, in the form of additional characters, costumes, weapons, items, stories, scenarios, and in-game currency, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers, or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
The game also features use of bad language, including ‘bastard’.
There is a reference to an enemy being driven to take their own life, although this is not depicted.
