Rating issues

This game features depictions of graphic violence, including dismemberment towards human characters. Illustrated images depict realistic violence of the princess being stabbed and her arms/head being cut off. Blood and exposed bones, tendons, and sinew are seen when this happens. There is a moment in the game that is shown from a first-person perspective; the protagonist is heard screaming before they slash with their knife. A splash of blood appears as a result of this. The narration describes the act of the protagonist cutting at themself, although we do not actually see the full body of the protagonist as this is happening.

This game contains the use of strong language, including ‘fuck’ and its derivatives. Milder bad language is also present including ‘shit’, ‘asshole’ and ‘bastard’.

Other issues

The content warning at the start of the game provided a link to all of the potential triggers that are contained: https://blacktabbygames.com/content-warnings-stp

Gory images are seen throughout the game, with scenes containing visible intestines and organs accompanied by blood details. Ominous music plays in the background throughout the game, and together with the art style, this creates a creepy atmosphere that may be scary to younger players.

The Narrator in the game makes references to pouring “a stiff drink” and says, “I’d rather not be sober”. Alcohol is only ever referenced, and no consumption ever actually takes place.
