Mario vs. Donkey Kong

This game has received a PEGI 3 and features occasional very mild violence in a comical or abstract context. Suitable for all ages.
Remake of the 2004 platform puzzle game in which Mario must chase down Donkey Kong, and solve puzzles and collect keys and presents, in order to recover the clockwork toys that Donkey Kong has stolen.

Rating issues

The violence found in this game is very mild in nature and is either directed at cartoon-like humans or fantasy characters. Enemies simply fall off-screen when defeated. Mario will also fall off-screen if he hits a hazard or enemy, after which the screen turns black and the stage restarts. Donkey Kong will display brief hit animations when struck, but never displays any visible harm. The cartoon-like visuals help to make the violence less disturbing.
