Remastered version of the role-playing game in which the player’s character joins a rebel organization in their quest to stop a world-controlling mega corporation from draining the life of the planet for use as an energy source. This version features both classic and new stories.

Rating issues

This game features frequent non-realistic violence towards human characters. Attacks are accompanied by non-realistic slashing effects or brightly coloured magic effects. Damage is indicated with numbers.

The game also features some disturbing images. For example, one cutscene depicts the aftermath of a battle, with sight of dead creatures, some of which have been impaled.

There is use of bad language, including ‘bastard’.

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items, in the form of an in-game currency, which can be bought using real world currency. This currency can then be used to enter draws in which random items can be won, such as weapons and other items of different rarity. The chances of obtaining each item are shown. Some parents or carers may want to be aware of this. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
