Rating issues

This game features moderate violence towards human and fantasy characters. When hit, characters are are knocked backwards and then get to their feet again, without any injuries. When defeated, they respond in an exaggerated fashion before falling to the ground. In one cinematic scene, a fantasy character is thrown from a height and lands on a boulder, accompanied by the sound of breaking bones. However, there are no blood effects.

The base game includes use of bad language, including ‘bitch’, ‘piss’, ‘bastard’ and ‘shit’.

Other issues

The base game, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, offers players the opportunity to purchase DLCs. This is not done in-game but through a third party site. The game links the player to that site if they want to make a purchase, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers, or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
