Real-time strategy game in which players rule over a group of settlers, constructing buildings and roads and recruiting and controlling an army, with the aim of defending your own people and defeating opponents by destroying their main buildings.

Rating issues

Violence is shown from a top-down perspective. Opposing armies are able to attack each other using both close and long-range weapons. There is no sight of blood or injuries and defeated characters simply disappear from the field of battle.

The game also contains scenes showing animals being hunted. The animals fall immediately when killed. Their bodies remain on screen so the player can harvest resources from them but there are no graphic details of butchery.

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase an in-game currency, which can then be spent on further in game items. Some parents or carers may want to be aware of this. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
