Violence during gameplay is generally mild and non-realistic, although some cutscenes show wounded or dying fantasy characters and these might disturb young children. Most enemies are defeated by being grabbed and thrown, causing them to disappear in a puff of smoke and stars. Enemies can be thrown into other enemies, causing them both to disappear. If the player’s character is hit, he flashes and his health reduces. When defeated, he faints and the screen fades to black. Boss enemies require multiple hits to defeat and take the form of large monsters that may scare very young children.
