Rating issues

Characters are depicted in the form of still images on cards. When an attack occurs, one card moves on top of the other and a magical spell effect appears, with the level of damage indicated. When defeated, the relevant character’s card simply moves off screen.

Some of the card designs feature undead characters, demons and other elements that are likely to be scary to young children.

The game’s story touches on some dark themes, including self-sacrifice and murder, although these are only presented through text. In one scene, a character’s clothing is seen to be stained red after some dialogue states they were slashed with a sword. However, no actual violence is shown.

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items, in the form of cosmetics that change the appearance of game elements, such a card background or board style. Some parents or carers may want to be aware of this. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.

There is some very mild bad language, such as ‘ass’, ‘damn’ and ‘jerk’.
