The game also includes mild violence between human and fantasy characters, such as humans hitting blob-like slug creatures, or blowing them up with explosives, which causes them to melt into red puddles which flicker and disappear. During a turn-based mini-game, slashes and flashes appear over the images of selected enemies, although no actual violence, blood or injuries are shown.

There are references to alcohol and alcohol use, although there is no sight of alcohol being consumed. There is sight of characters smoking but this is not a prominent aspect of the game.
