Rating issues

Gameplay features strong and realistic-looking violence, involving the use of firearms, bladed weapons and hand-to-hand combat. Violence can result in blood sprays, the quantity of which depends upon the weapon being used. Enemy characters disintegrate, leaving behind items that can be collected. When the player’s character is damaged, they fall to the floor and either regenerate or are revived by team members in multi-player mode.

Cutscenes involve more graphic violence, including a vampire attacking a male character, resulting in blood splatter and crunching noises as the vampire feeds. When the vampire notices a cross on the victim’s neck, she rips the flesh and muscle from his neck, causing pain, injury and blood loss.

The game also includes use of strong language (‘fuck’).

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items, in the form of a battle pass containing vanity items which are available for direct purchase in exchange for virtual currency. You can buy the virtual currency with real money, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers, or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
