The game Speedball 2100 includes a sequence in which a character, who is wearing protective clothing and a helmet, is elbowed in the stomach and then punched in the head. The character makes pained reactions and then falls to the ground.

Other violence is less realistic in nature, with characters either getting up again when knocked down or exploding in a cloud when their health bar is depleted. There is no injury detail.
