Rating issues

The player’s character can engage in combat with other characters using a variety of handheld weapons and tools, including guns, rockets and explosive devices. If enemy characters are hit outside, this causes damage to their body shield. When the shield is destroyed, the character dies inside their spacesuit. If enemy characters are hit inside buildings and other structures, death is quicker because of the absence of a shield. The violence is not realistic looking and there is no blood or injury detail.

Other issues

In line with the original game, there is implied violence during space combat, with space ships shooting at each other and exploding after continued fire. There is no sight of injury to human characters in these space-based scenes.

There is also infrequent use of bad language (‘bastard’, ‘shit’ and ‘piss’).
