There are some hazards and obstacles that can harm the game’s main character, such as falling into water or lava, or being hit by boulders or spiky orbs. When the main character is hurt, she faints or disappears and the screen quickly fades to black.

The cut scenes that tell the game’s story feature some references to death, such as a wizard disappearing underneath some rubble following an earthquake, as well as some references to the main character’s children crying out for their mother when they are lost. However, nothing disturbing is shown.
