Violence during gameplay involves the player’s character fending off attacking creatures who bite and slash at her. The creatures can be attacked with a variety of weapons, including a shotgun and a nail gun. The creatures flinch and groan before eventually falling to the ground. Blood effects appear when the creatures are attacked. The player’s character can be killed, with the creatures snapping her neck and shaking her lifeless body. More realistic violence occurs in cinematic scenes, including a woman being knocked unconscious by a blow to the head, a man slashing his wrists to obtain blood for a sacrifice, and a drill being dropped onto the head of a creature, causing a spray of blood.
