Rating issues
Players must shoot at and eliminate other characters using various weapons and abilities. The violence is non-realistic and cartoonish. Hits result in comical sound effects and a reduction in the character’s health. When a character is defeated, a skull is shown and the character drops to the floor, sometimes rolling around before disappearing. When the player is defeated, the screen fades to show the text ‘Eliminated’ before respawning.
Video footage includes a zombie character holding an unrealistic brain and the losing team suffering comic consequences, such as being squashed by a disco ball or drowning in chocolate.
Other issues
This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items, in the form of tokens that can be used to buy cosmetic items, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
