Rating issues
This game contains frequent depictions of realistic looking violence towards human-like characters. The player character can be killed in a multitude of ways, either by attacks from enemies or by falling victim to various traps. The player can be shot, crushed and bludgeoned. In none of these instances are blood effects or any other visible injuries shown. However, the characters do struggle realistically and fall limply to the floor before the screen fades to black.
There are also depictions of violence towards fantasy characters, including humanoid characters with porcelain heads. The player has to defeat these characters by smashing their heads with blunt objects. Their heads simply smash, with no gore or blood, and the characters fall to the floor.
Other issues
There is an intense feeling of dread throughout the game and the imagery and the design of the enemies is potentially frightening. Dead bodies and other graphic images can be seen in the background of the levels.
