As waves of opposing forces press forward, characters are shot using rifles. The first time a character is hit, there is normally a comic reaction, such as a hat falling off or the character adopting an unnatural pose. However, subsequent hits may result in the character making a pained sound and being flung an exaggerated distance. While there is no blood or injury shown, and some bodies disappear almost immediately, other bodies remain in view for a short period of time before fading away.
