Combat is a core part of gameplay and violence is frequent. Violence is directed at a mixture of human-like and fantasy characters. Violence is unrealistic in nature, as are reactions to it. Enemies flash when hit and disappear in puffs of smoke when defeated. The player’s characters start blinking when hit and faints when defeated

The numerous boss-fights feature huge and often menacing bosses. Some of these creatures feature designs that could scare young children, most notably the final boss.
