This game features comical combat between human-like and fantasy characters. The violence found in this combat is over-the-top and unrealistic, as are reactions to it: characters flash on hit, attacks are flashy and cartoon-like, characters disappear in puffs of smoke when defeated. The pixelated visual style helps in making the violence slightly less disturbing. The game also features boss-fights. Some of the creatures the player is pitted against, most notably the final boss, have designs that would likely scare young children.
