Violence typically consists of battle scenes between both human and fantasy characters in which the humans are often wielding bladed weapons which deal both physical and magical attacks with bright, flashing effects. Enemy responses to these attacks are minimal and although small blood splashes are shown, damage is primarily dealt by numbers.
Some in game cinematics show more detailed scenes such as two fantasy creatures beating each other with clubs, a woman backhanding a man across the face, and two characters swords colliding in a blinding flash, destroying one’s blade and causing her to be stabbed in the chest. However, she lives long enough to deliver a lengthy monologue before the blade is removed, leaving a gaping black void in her chest as she fades away.
Offensive language and mild swearing are sometimes used, including the words ‘bastard’, ‘shit’ and ‘whore’.
Sexual content includes scenes of flirtatious dialogue, a scene where a character requests permission to spend the ‘night of his dreams’ kissing and touching a woman’s body and ‘co-sleeping scenes’ in which the player (not visible on the screen) is lying in bed with one of their cohorts, who are usually wearing lingerie or nightwear and posed in ways in which their breasts and buttocks are prominent but not naked, and the dialogue often becomes mildly flirtatious but not graphically sexual.
