Arcade Spirits is a visual novel set in an alternative universe where the 1983 video game crash never happened. You play as Ari, a young woman unlucky in both employment and love as she takes her room-mates advice and uses a new, artificially intelligent life coaching app to find her a job in a retro video arcade.
You must follow the conversations and find romance along the way, who you end up with depends on your own personality and the dialogue options you choose.

Rating issues

This game contains textually descriptive romantic scenes in which the player engages in physical relations with other characters. These scenes may contain innuendo but do not go into graphic sexual detail and there is no erotic imagery to accompany them.

As a visual novel, this game is predominantly text based and as such, the dialogue does include many references to violence, drinking and bad language but none of these things are actually depicted visually or audibly and are references only. Bad language is shown in the form of an ‘@!#?@’ icon.
