Some of the games contain scenes of bloody violence towards human characters. Although the reactions to the violence are still unrealistic – they disappear when defeated – there can be quite a bit of blood spray. In Shock Troopers, you can shoot opponent soldiers and their arms come off and they clutch the stump which is covered in blood, however due to the 2D arcade style, the detail is very limited.
