Violent scenes include the grisly murder of a woman who has had her tongue cut out. She is suspended from the ceiling, in her underwear and covered in blood, by a complex system of cables. When cut, these cause her to fall and be choked and impaled by tentacles.
Another scene shows the antagonist brandishing a knife while being attacked by a dog which bites his arm, causing him to fling the blade into the air where it falls and impales him in the chest. As he staggers, he loses his balance and falls face first onto a giant, swinging hook which embeds itself in his skull, obliterating much of his head and killing him instantly.
