The strongest violence in this game features in an introductory cut scene. Here, a man is thrown from a building by a large shadowy figure, landing bloody-faced and begging for his life. The figure stands over him and grasps his neck, dangling the man over the edge of a building. A gurgling and cracking sound is heard, as the man’s neck is crushed. His silhouette falls to the ground, where he lies unconscious in a pool of blood.
Gameplay violence features both realistic and non-realistic violence, amongst small, but reasonably detailed human-like characters. Magical spells can be used between enemies, causing bright flashing lights, and sometimes sword strikes are met with little visible reaction. However, on other occasions, injuries will cause a blood effect, or the characters to flinch or yell, or even to explode into bloody pieces. Once defeated, they will fall on the ground and remain there.
