In Home Behind, you take on the role of a refugee cast out from your homeland by a band of rebels. Your home and the peace you enjoyed has been destroyed, and your family has disappeared. Can you survive the struggle, famine, and sickness to make it to the safety of Europe?

Rating issues

The weapons to be used by the player are predominantly bladed. Each successful strike will be shown as a damage point together with blood splatter and a reduction in the characters life bar . When a character’s health expires it will fall to the ground and remain in view, there are no visible wounds but there are sounds of exertion and pain during combat.

Other issues

Of note, is that there is one storyline that involves people smuggling and the financial gain to be made from such an enterprise with little regard for the treatment and well-being of the ‘customers’. There is also an inference that the ‘bad’ guys originate from the Middle East, they are dressed in black, some with head and face coverings, and use phrases such as “Paradise awaits a true martyr!” , “For God!” and “The servants of righteousness will prevail!”.
