Violence consists of the player engaging in close combat, usually armed with a sword or stick, against various creatures. Responses are predominantly unrealistic and although some blood is shown, damage is represented through life bars. When the life bars are depleted, the defeated character will cry out and fall to the ground where they will remain. There are scenes of a few bodies on the ground throughout the game, but they do not include any bloodstains or injuries and some of them are capable of resurrecting to become an enemy to be defeated.
Mildly offensive language is infrequently used but does include the words ‘bloody’ and ‘damn you’.
