Jake Hunter Detective Story: Ghost of the Dusk

This game was rated PEGI 16 for frequent scenes which could be considered encouragement of the use of alcohol. It is not suitable for persons under 16 years of age.
It all begins with the accidental death of a homeless man in a mysterious mansion. Despite the crime scene appearing relatively normal, Jake can’t shake the feeling that something isn’t right.
During his investigation, Jake enlists the help of an old friend to get to the bottom of this horrible crime and uncover the identity of the true culprit.

Rating issues

Alcohol is mentioned frequently throughout the game dialogue. One scene discusses the proper way to drink Vodka and how there is nothing like it when it is cold outside.

Other issues

Scenes to investigate can include dead bodies which, while not graphically detailed to look at, may cause a feeling of horror or revulsion in some players.
The game also features the use of offensive language including the words: ‘bastard’, ‘bloody’, ‘bullshit’, ‘damn you’, ‘piss’, and ‘pissed’.
