As the player guides the craft through underwater caverns and tunnels aquatic animals will be encountered, some are docile and do not attack, however the player can attack and kill them at will by firing torpedoes or harpoons at them. When hit, they will gently explode, this is accompanied by pixellated blood effects. The violence is non-realistic looking. Occasionally the player will be required to fight a boss character which can fight back, as well as being able to use a harpoon and torpedoes the player can also use a saw to remove the creature’s tentacles one by one and eventually kill the character.
