Set in 2084 Poland following a ‘digital plague’ that costs the lives of thousands, resulting in war and rampant drug use. The player takes control of Daniel Lazarski, a detective of the Observers police unit tasked with hacking their targets’ memories and fears.

This game contains sustained depictions of death and injury towards human-like characters. The player inspects various crime scenes which often feature bloodied human bodies. One scene in particular features a human body that has been decapitated, strong blood and injury detail is shown. Throughout the game bodies and blood are frequently displayed in the environment. This game also contains the use of sexual expletives, variations of the word “fuck” can be found throughout.
