Friday the 13th: The Game is a third-person horror, survival game where players take on the role of a teen counsellor, or Jason Voorhees. You and six other unlucky souls will do everything possible to escape and survive while the most well-known killer in the world tracks you down and brutally slaughters you.

Rating issues

This is a hack and slash game in which the protagonist Jason seeks out and kills by any means possible. This can be caused by dismemberment, decapitation, horrific deaths caused by burning, eye gouging, head smashing and bladed objects pushed down a character’s throat. All violence is accompanied by gratuitous amounts of blood. The game also includes the use of the sexual expletive ‘fucking’ and derivations of the word.
