Players control a fantastical, fox-like being in a quest to restore balance to the world. An ancient power forges together two distinctly different creatures into one versatile hero. Players move on a 2-D axis and will need to defeat all evils in a variety of landscapes and settings.

Violence in the game is generally mild and mostly consists of dodging environmental hazards combined with boss fights. These bosses have quite a scary and intimidating demeanour and will chase players through a level. Bosses will react with a flashing animation or a screech to indicate they are hit. When defeated, bosses will either fade away or fall to the ground without any visible injuries.
