11th November 1916, a young photographer leaves Canada to join the western front in Europe. The same day, a German technician is told that his son is missing in action. Both want to preserve their humanity and come back alive to their loved ones.

Rating issues

There is the infrequent use of ‘bastards, and ‘bloody’. The games graphics are presented in the style of a watercolour painting, with visible brush strokes or daubs of paint in a hue of colours reminiscent of impressionist painters such as Monet and Renoir, which is replicated in the game, does not permit detail or clarity to be observed and consequently images are not sharp and have a ‘muddy’ / blurry consistency. The violence is determined to be non-realistic looking.
