Based on the manga series ‘Attack on Titan’, this action game follows various characters from the series, as they battle against Titans – monstrous giants who have mysteriously appeared and begun to prey on people.

Rating issues

The game features infrequent violence against defenceless characters. In one cut scene, a young man is handcuffed to a pole and kicked repeatedly in the face. The violence is exaggerated with a slow motion effect and the character is left bruised by the end of the scene.

Other issues

The majority of violence in the game is conducted against the titans who you must dismember to subdue and slash at the nape of the neck to finally kill. This is accompanied by lots of blood on the initial cut, but titans do not appear to bleed from their wounds and instead emit steam. People, including innocent civilians, are picked up and eaten by the titans.
