The game also includes a sense of threat and horror throughout as the player’s character is pursued and hunted by hostile alien creatures. If the player’s character is caught by a creature, they will be knocked to the floor, although no detail is seen due to the first-person perspective of the game. If other humans are seen being attacked by the creatures, there may be sight of them being swiped at or grabbed, although any killings are not shown on screen. If the player’s character attacks one of the monsters, the creature may scream and recoil, although blood and injuries are not shown. There is, however, some sight of dead bodies in the aftermath of violence, with blood stains but no realistic wounds or gory detail.
