This is a re-release of an old school late 80s game. Contra takes place in the 27th century, and centres around two commandos named Bill Rizer and Lance Bean, who are members of a special guerrilla task force codenamed “Contra” repeatedly sent to thwart an army of alien invaders seeking to destroy the Earth.

Rating issues

Enemies vary from human like foes to alien type creatures, turrets and robots. When killed, the characters will fall down in a simplistic fashion, then flicker and regenerate.

Other issues

Some boss characters have a rather menacing demeanour.
